Architecting an AI-Fueled Business
Organizations face challenges from many directions and include threats to the business from state-sponsored cyberattacks, geopolitical turmoil, inflation, extreme weather conditions, and a shortage of security skills. The CISO must balance these threats with new approaches in continuous risk assessment, protecting digital assets, and managing the rapid pace of innovation in security technologies. For CISOs the new paradigms include cyber resilience, digital trust and data and digital sovereignty, and compliance with legal obligations.
Overview

Over the past ten years, Chinese enterprises have witnessed substantial shifts in their digital transformation journey. Initially, policy support from the government evolved from general acknowledgment to significant emphasis. Technologically, the landscape shifted from single technology pilot projects to large-scale innovations driven by the integration of multiple technologies. Users, too, transformed their approach, moving from cautious observation and experimentation to active embracement, acceleration, and the pursuit of innovation.
Additionally, ecosystems transformed from being fragmented and isolated to systematic, standardized, and cross-border integrated win-win environments. Lastly, the focus of value creation shifted from basic financial and customer values to ecological and societal values. Furthermore, China’s digital development landscape, in contrast to developed countries, is marked by an uneven progression through agriculturalization, industrialization, informatization, digitization, and intelligence. This coexistence implies a continued strengthening of government policies aimed at digital development, with the digital economy, Digital China initiatives, and core technologies being pivotal for the country’s digital business evolution. At the same time, traditional products and services, such as PCs, mobile phones, ERP systems, and business-finance integration, still have vast potential for growth, all enhanced by the integration of AI.
